I write newspaper and magazine features, reported stories, book reviews, and essays on food, culture, and identity. My work has been published by major newspapers and magazines, such as The New York Times, The New Republic, and The Atlantic.

Some of my favorite pieces include an op-ed essay making the case in for bringing back an Old World tradition in The New York Times, a reported piece on a hot ticket event at NY's Auto Show for Religion News Service, and a review of a controversial cookbook for The New York Times Dining Section.
